Kelsey and Vinny’s intimate backyard wedding was so much fun! The love these two share is so beyond special, and it was a JOY to be a part of their day! From the beautiful cathedral where they exchanged their intimate vows to the Detroit Public Library – this day was absolutely unforgettable! I am so excited about these two and so thankful I was able to be a small part of their day!

As a Detroit wedding photographer, my biggest advice to all my couples is to design the wedding of YOUR dreams. If that means a luxury wedding at an estate or an intimate backyard wedding – do just that! You deserve the wedding of your DREAMS!

A Dreamy Intimate Backyard Wedding

Before celebrating the night away, Kelsey and Vinny exchanged their emotional vows at a beautiful cathedral here in Detroit. Sweetest Heart of Mary is breathtaking! The stunning architecture, the gorgeous stained-glass, and the beauty of the moment are just unbelievable. It was the event place for Kelsey and Vinny.

After their beautiful ceremony, we ventured to the Detroit Public Library for portraits before heading to Vinny’s sister’s backyard. On your wedding day, don’t be afraid to visit an off-site location for your formal wedding day portraits. Picking somewhere close and easily accessible allows you to get those gorgeous images without taking away too much time from the celebrations!

Their classic and elegant decor was BEAUTIFUL! They were intentional with every space and designed their day to be absolutely perfect! Their first dance was beautifully lit, creating the most romantic atmosphere! They finished their evening off with dancing and so much fun.
