Kaitlyn and Nick celebrated their love during their Cannon Beach, Oregon, wedding. The Pacific Northwest is beyond dreamy and STUNNING! If you are looking for the perfect place for your intimate elopement or wedding, Cannon Beach, Oregon, is the place to be! 

Nick proposed to Katie in Seattle during a trip. After their engagement trip, they knew they wanted to travel back to the Pacific Northwest for their wedding day. After a year of planning, we all met up with their closest family and friends for their intimate wedding. It was PERFECT!

While their day was perfect, it wasn’t without an adventure! They have quite the wedding day story. In the early hours of the morning of their wedding day, Nick’s mom was picking up a friend. Call it fate or whatever you want, but this sweet friend had gotten in late from the airport. They then noticed a building on fire! She ended up calling the fire department, and while waiting for the fire department to be put out, they realized that the building that she had called in was actually Katie & Nick’s venue!! Can you imagine?! Thankfully, the fire was put out quickly, and there was minimal damage to the building. Due to the smoke, Katie and Nick were now unable to hold their reception at their venue.

The community of Cannon Beach really came together to turn what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. The fire department opened its doors to Katie, Nick, and their guests for dinner, and a hotel with a beautiful beachfront took the time to set out enough chairs and start a fire for us to enjoy the sunset. While the day did not turn out anything like how they had envisioned, it turned out even better because of their flexibility and understanding.
