Before their Ann Arbor Peony engagement session, I was lucky enough to document my brother Seth and his now-fiancé’s very special Stoney Creek Metro Park proposal. Seth coordinated this location so perfectly! Stoney Creek Metro Park is so special to them as a couple, so this was the perfect place for their surprise proposal. Located in Rochester, MI, this 4,000+ acre park has ample stunning locations for a proposal, engagement, or portrait session. You can find a gorgeous lake, lush woodlands, and tons of paved and unpaved trails for all to enjoy. If you’re in the area, Stoney Creek Metro Park is worth a visit! You will not be disappointed. 

Just Engaged

After their surprise proposal, we took some “Just Engaged” portraits, which were SO FUN! You can just feel the love radiating between the two of them. After a proposal, surprise or not, your emotions are running high. As they should be! Embrace those high emotions and lean into them.
