It is an absolute honor to share Grace and Doug’s beautiful Detroit Institute of the Arts engagement session today! We were lucky enough to get great weather and sneak away to Belle Isle to finish the session off. Talk about picture perfect!

We shot on a Summer evening in July, and the weather forecast was not looking favorable by any means. To be honest, we were sure we would have to brave some storms. But! Lucky for us, the storms cleared and created the most perfect window for their engagement session! How perfect is that!?

Grace and Doug began with more formal outfits for their Detroit Institute of the Arts engagement session, and ended on Belle Isle with their casual outfit choices. The DIA is an incredible museum, with so much to offer, and the perfect spot for your engagement session! I cannot recommend this location enough!

These two are so fun, love to laugh and have a good time, and such a joy to be around! I cannot wait to document their beautiful wedding in October and celebrate their beautiful love.
