The 2022 Wedding Superlatives are finally here!! First and foremost, for the millionth time, I am so truly thankful to be able to be a small part of one of the most memorable days of your lives! It is such an honor to document every couple, and I am just so thankful! I am so excited to share some of the best and my most favorite moments from the year! 

Favorite Venue – Kate & Ross

Their venue was beyond stunning! Kate and Ross got married in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains at the beautiful 5-star mountain resort in Colorado Springs, CO. Everything from the food, venue, and service, to the weather and location was AMAZING!

Favorite Bouquets – Stacey & Clay

Their incredible bouquets were designed and created by Jen House Design. I loved the beautiful textures and soft colors for this spring wedding! 

Favorite Reception Moment – Ava & Mason

Ava & Mason’s siblings and cousins wrote, sang, and played a cover of love songs together during their receptions. They shared a slow dance to it while being serenaded. SO SWEET!

Favorite Intimate Wedding – Morgan & Andrew

Morgan and Andrew had an intimate afternoon wedding which was so fun to be a part of! Even with their beautiful afternoon wedding, they had all the traditional wedding activities, including tons of fun dancing! 

Favorite Father-Daughter First Look – Kayla & Brent 

Kayla’s first look with her dad was SO SWEET! He went from being a little emotional to so happy and excited for her. You can just feel the emotions through their photos. 

Most Unique Transportation – Katelyn & Tucker

Tucker’s family has a tradition of being transported from the ceremony to the reception on a tractor. Nothing says fun like a tractor ride entrance for your wedding!!

Favorite Details – Naomi & Tyler

Their details were so thoughtfully curated and designed. I specifically loved their stationary, florals, and all of her bridal details. It was all so STUNNING!

Most Epic Dance Off – Kayce & Spencer

Their family was SO MUCH FUN! Once the dancing started, it never stopped. At one point, they were doing a dance off by seeing who could do the best worm dance move.

Best First Look – Mary & Brent

This sweet couple had an emotional first look and vow exchange. I couldn’t help but get teary-eyed with them.  

Favorite Coffee Bar – Savannah & Jacob 

They had a yummy coffee bar which was the perfect pick-me-up in between their cocktail hour and reception! 

Favorite Reception – Tiffany & Jack 

What’s better than dancing the night away on the Detroit River?! What a perfect (and very fun!) way to celebrate marriage. The yacht offered 3 levels, allowing guests to choose the atmosphere that they wanted to be a part of without missing out on the celebration! 

Best Wedding Party – Isabella & Austin 

They had such a fun and outgoing wedding party! Everyone was down to do anything for the couple and were the best hype squad for the two of them.

Fastest Wedding Planning – Madelyn & Tim

Due to limited military leave, Madelyn and Tim had only 3 weeks to plan their wedding. After knowing that and seeing how beautiful their day turned out, I’d say it went off without a hitch!  

Favorite Pets – Isabella & Adam

Isabella and Adam had their adorable dogs Tyson and Beretta join for golden hour portraits. They were so excited to see their mom and dad! They had cute bow ties and bandanas for their photos! 

Favorite Dessert – Kaylyn & Andrew

Their desserts, specifically their cookies, were AMAZING! Kaylyn & Andrew ordered them from Phat Ash Bakes out of Florida and had them specifically delivered to Michigan for their wedding. Seriously, they are SO GOOD! I have ordered their cookies multiple times now!

Most Left-Handed People at a Wedding – Frank & Kailee 

We found out that at least 3 vendors, the bride and groom, and a groomsman, are all left-handed! We had never been in a room with that many lefties before!

Favorite Food – Jordynn & Benjamin

Jordynn & Benjamin had a pizza truck for their wedding, and it was delicious, fresh thin-crust pizza! I loved that they chose something that they loved to eat! 

Favorite Ceremony Moment – Kelli & Lance

Kelli & Lance seeing each other while walking down the aisle was so beautiful! Both of them were so emotional, and you could just see the love radiating off of them!  

Best Reception Entrance – Grace & Doug

Their reception was ELECTRIC! From the minute they were announced, all guests were on the dance floor celebrating Grace and Doug. I had never seen a dance floor as packed as I did on their wedding day. It was so fun!   

Favorite Reception Florals – Savannah & Ian

WOW! Their florals were BEYOND STUNNING, but the highlight of them all was their reception space. Looking around, everyone was in awe, and the smell of them permeated the room and made for such a beautiful smelling reception.

Favorite Ceremony – Michelle & David

Their ceremony was so sweet! The officiant had them write out the reasons that they fell in love and chose each other. There wasn’t a dry eye anywhere. It was so beautifully written and described about the love they shared together.
